Red Sea Barramundi

Technical Name: "Lates Calcarifer"

Red Sea Fish This species has large, silver scales, which may become darker or lighter, depending on their environments (black, silver and grey are most common ones).

Its excellent flavor and texture are the result of a combination of low impact aquaculture practices and our unique environmental conditions.

The high salinity of the Red Sea is giving Red Sea Barramundi its unique taste. Our large, low density sea cages 5 km offshore, guarantee that our products are free of the muddy taste that is often noticed when farmed in ponds.
